Speech Therapy

In addition to assisting you or your loved one regain the fundamentals of speaking; Regency Home Health Care's speech language therapy program aims to help you cope with motor speech disorders, language disorders, swallowing and more. Our speech language pathologists evaluate each person’s communication skills individually, and they will work closely with you to help convey your needs and care for yourself. Our speech therapy program has been specifically designed to help people needing assistance with any or all of the following:

• Attention to a task with distraction

• Long-term and short-term memory

• Ability to complete sequenced tasks

• Problem solving

• Functional reading and writing

• Voice conditions such as hoarseness or volume

• Hearing

• Swallowing problems such as coughing or choking

• Diet modification due to swallowing complications
